My Flip Video ..A Gift from Avery and Mia

Here is the first video shot with my new Flip Video. I can't wait to take it to Disneyland and tape me on the ride. I can also edit out the part where I scream like a little girl.

Birthday Dinner in West Sacramento

It was a short notice gathering, but we had a great response to celebrate Mia's Birthday. My birthday was second billing...that was the only way Mia would agree to have people over.


The spread was amazing. I prepared (technically, I heated) two family sized lasagnas and only half of one was eaten. Papa's Beef Curry was a hit.
The Birthday Cake that was brought by Corina. Good Stuff...I am still not sure how it more food was consumed after dinner.
The Celebrants...Did you know that Mia is Eight days older than me? It is one of my favorite times of the year. That is when all of the AARP jokes come out.

Monica and Aimee, who took Mia away on a weekend getaway to....Walnut Creek??? Who knew the Double Ewe Cee was such a place to go and lounge on your birthday.

Once again, Emma is in one of the summer musicals put on by the local theater group. Here she is pictured with the lead actor and some of the 40+ kids in the production.
