H3 Chili Cook Off @ Poop Deck's aka Fernando
About 80 or so Hash House Harrier (H3) Runners finished the weekend run at Fernando's house with a "Chili Cook Off" to highlight the early afternoon event. Typically there are 30-50 H3'ers involved in the run/walk event. Today, many of Fernando's friends came out to visit with him and offer well wishes.
Apparently, H3's are given their "nicknames"...will have to find out the story about Fernando's name later. Poop Deck was official Chili Judge and awarded the two top recipes. Here's the video that captures the event...warning, not for young nieces or nephews viewing.

Museum of American History
Lola got a chance to visit the remodeled Smithsonian National Museum of American History during Tito Fernando's visit home this week. Here's a shsort video of Lola enjoying First Lady's Inaugural dresses, Julie Child's kitchen and other great American artifacts.
