Rudy Scores A Big Payday

I presented Rudy with his Winner's paycheck. He won a total of $5.50. The big skins were on on the "Great Equalizer" hole #17. It is our famous water hole, that only measures 107 yards over water, and we had $2.50 riding on the putt count. Rudy hit first, and hit it in the water. I hit the green, but it was about 25 feet from the hole. Rudy proceeds to hit his third shot 5 inches to the hole. He taps in for $2.50.

Rage took over on 18 where I proceeded to slam my wedge against my bag. It snapped in half.

The Reason Mia Wasn't At The Party

It is only eight weeks into the whole process, but we wanted to let you know that Mia and I are expecting. Mia has not been feeling well, crappy in fact, so we went to have a check up. She tested positive on her home test about 4 weeks ago, but because of our experience late last year, we were a bit uncertain about how she was doing.

Some of you may know, I am not a big fan of fetal ultrasounds, but I really thought it was necessary to do for peace of mind and for the health of both of them.

The funny thing about the whole thing is that the approximate due date (the guess that the doctor makes) is October 18th.... Avery's birthday!

Day at the San Francsico Zoo

We took the family to San Francisco on January 21st, 2006 because Grandma and Grandpa had an 80th Surprise B-Day Party to attend and we don't let Grandpa drive that much these days. While they attended the party and caught up with friends from the days of the internment camp, we took the kids for a few hours to the Zoo!

Alison, Natatlie and R.J. had a blast! We rented a double "stroller" so the twins wouldn't have to walk too much...and of course, Alison was the one riding it for most of our zoo visit!

The first exhibit we saw upon entering was the African exhibit where Natalie is CONVINCED she saw Bambi! She jumped up and down pointing to the gazelle yelling "look, Bambi, there's Bambi!"

Our next stop was the gorillas. Tito Mando told us to watch out for the feces throwing gorillas so we walked to the exhibit with apprehension...at least Rudy Alison and me. The twins could care less if the gorillas launched feces...they were just excited to see them! Alison kept asking us how Tito Mando knows that the gorilla throws poo poo....

R.J. was intrigued with the peacocks that roamed freely. He even tried to chase a few...poor birds!

Some Pics From Tito Philip's Surprise Birthday Party

I am posting few of the pictures that I took from the party. Unfortunately, I didn't even get any pics of Tito Philip. I know you guys have much more. Joe, call me up and I will walk you through the process. When I get to work, I will email you another invitation to join.

Enjoy.. and post your pictures.

All of the cousins taking a picture together. What a neat site!

Here is the our plate. Avery and I shared a plate. The funny thing is... I didn't have any corn. At the time of the picture, Avery had four, but at the end of the night, she had a grand total of six. I have Julie as my witness. I tried to justify it by thinking to myself, "Well.. she is not eating a bowl of chips" (at the time of this post, we have yet to see "end result" of this binge)

The Corn Monster!!

It is amazing what a handful of free balloons can do. It was like built in day care.
