Haircuts with a Cause

Avery has been wanting to have her hair cut short for some time now; and mommy has been less than enthusiastic about it. Until we found out that Janice was going to cut her hair for the Beautiful Lengths program. Beautiful Lengths is a program, sponsored by Pantene, that collects donated hair and makes wigs for those in need, such as chemotherapy patients.

Mia was sad about losing Avery's long hair, but was comforted in the fact that it would going to a great cause.


"I want one last picture with Avery before we do this!" Mia actually had dreams about how the whole day was going to take place.

They each had a shampoo prior to the cut. It appeared that Avery could get used to this experience.

The Short Haired Divas!!

Mia and the girls! She actually loved how Avery's hair turned out. Now her hair won't get in her face when she's at home playing with her bugs. Thank you Auntie Ayna for taking us there and being prepared for us not being prepared with all the supplies. Oh yeah.. Your hair turned out great as well.
